How to do an Ethical consumption
After deciding on the topic of my speech, which was about my consumption habits, I conducted some research on ethical consumption. I found that there are many ways to engage in ethical consumption, also known as ethical purchasing, moral purchasing, ethical shopping, or green consumption. I came across the website "ethicalconsumer.org," which provided me with a lot of valuable information.
The website stated that we can use our money as a vote for a better world by buying products that have a positive impact on people, the planet, and animals. Shopping ethically can make a real difference in the world.
Here are some ways to shop ethically: we can choose products from greener suppliers or companies that make less of a carbon footprint or use eco-friendly materials to reduce pollution and toxicity. We can also buy secondhand items, which saves the environment and natural resources.
We can choose not to buy products that contain palm oil, which can help save orangutans and the Indonesian rainforest. Additionally, we should avoid buying health supplements made with Krill oil to protect Antarctic whales and other living things that depend on Krill as their prey.
Buying products from local suppliers and retailers or the local community, rather than from big companies, can also promote ethical consumption and help improve our community.
Choosing to purchase products from companies that pay their employees fair wages, treat them properly, and pay taxes properly can also make a positive impact on society. We should also select companies that do not test on animals and care about animal welfare.
We purchase many things in our everyday lives, and by choosing to shop ethically, we can make our society and planet a better and more sustainable place.
윤리적인 소비에 대한 생각
윤리적인 소비와 지구를 위한 그린 소비는 오래전부터 저의 화두였습니다.
그것에 관해 말할 때 쓰려고 쓴 글입니다.
도덕적이지 않거나, 노동자들의 복지가 나쁘거나, 세금을 잘 내지 않거나, 동물 학대를 하거나,
지구에 안좋은 환경을 만들거나 하는 회사의 제품은 알면 스스로 불매를 하였습니다.
그리고 사회에 좋은 가치를 실천 하려고 노력하고, 근로자들을 위하고, 지구를 위하는 착한 기업은
가격이 좀 더 나가더라도 그 제품을 이용하려고 노력합니다.
최근 몇년 동안 ESG (Environmental, Social and Governance) 가 뜨면서,
기업들도 점점 소비자의 요구에 맞춰 변하고 있는 좋은 현상이 일어나고 있습니다.
지구를 생각하는 좋은 회사, 윤리적인 회사들이 많아져
더 즐거운 마음으로 필요한 것을 소비하게 되는 세상을 그려봅니다.
